Cookie Policy

Last revised: 12 May 2026

This policy explains how fernpoint.help, operated by Fernpoint Digital Sdn Bhd, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — a session identifier, a language choice, or a consent decision. Cookies set by us are "first-party"; cookies set by other domains are "third-party".

How this site uses them

We run a deliberately light setup. On your first visit you will see a consent banner with Accept and Reject options; nothing optional is set until you choose.

Strictly necessary (always active)

  • PHP session cookie — supports the contact form and its security token. Expires when you close the browser.
  • cc_cookie — records your consent choices so we do not ask on every visit. Expires after 6 months.

Analytics (only with consent)

If you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregated usage statistics — which pages are read, roughly how visitors arrive, and where they leave. We use this to improve content. The data is not used to build individual profiles.

Marketing (only with consent)

Used solely to measure whether our own occasional campaigns bring relevant visitors. We do not run third-party advertising networks on this site.

Changing your mind

You can revisit your choices at any time using the round cookie button in the lower-left corner of every page. Your new selection takes effect immediately, and rejecting categories removes the related cookies.

Browser controls

Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings — look under "Privacy" in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the contact form from working, but the rest of the site will read normally.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected] and a human will explain exactly what each cookie does.
